Important Information for your Capsule Sponge Appointment

Please note: You will not be able to cancel or rebook your appointment using the link in your text message within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment time. If you need to cancel or rebook during this period, please call the research team on 0808 281 4772.

Accessibility Information
The mobile units are equipped with a step-free assisted ramp, available on request, which can accommodate a standard manual wheelchair. Unfortunately, due to the gradient and maximum weight restrictions, the ramp is not suitable for electric wheelchairs or rollators. 

 Before your appointment please remember to:  

• Stop taking your anti-coagulant medication as advised in the Participant Information Sheet and by your GP   
• DO NOT eat or drink for at least 4 hours before your test (you can take medication with small sips of water if needed)  
• Bring a list of your medication and NHS number  
• Fully read the Participant Information Sheet. 
• Arrive at your appointment on time
