Important Information for your Capsule Sponge Appointment

We look forward to seeing you at your booked appointment. If you require further assistance during your appointment, such as:

• A friend or family member to assist you during the consent process

If you have any medication or medical history questions, please contact the BEST4 clinical team on  01223 761085  or  cuh.best4.trial@nhs.net  . 

 Before your appointment please remember to:  

• Stop taking your anti-coagulant medication as advised  
• Do not eat or drink for a minimum of 4 hours before attending your appointment. You can take any medication you need to with small sips of water  
• Bring a list of your medication and NHS number  
• Fully read the Patient Information Sheet. 
• Fully read the consent form  (you do not need to print or complete this form, we will do it with you at your appointment  
• Arrive at your appointment on time
